A Thousand Mad Things is a London based solo artist, William Barradale, who delivers synth-pop, 1980s-inspired, new wave / dark wave music. His "inspiration comes from 80s British synth pop bands like Soft Cell, Tears for Fears, The Human League and Depeche Mode" and his "sound is unapologetically nostalgic" [source: @athousandmadthings, TikTok, Dec 2025]. ‘A Thousand Mad Things' debut EP, Cry & Dance’, was released in Oct 2025.
