Based in London, ABOVE are a five-piece band combining articulate English indie-pop with the power of mainstream American rock. Karl’s unique and charismatic vocals ride on top of the intertwining melodies of the guitars and keyboards. The bass adds a potent rhythmic twist, whilst the unforgettable driving sound of the powerhouse drums gives the songs that classic indie-rock edge.
Their catchy, infectious songs mix conversational lyricism with a true appreciation of melody, fully embracing their vision of ‘intimacy on widescreen.’
“ABOVE have all the right assets to create a real stir. The band write infectious, stirring songs full of real emotion.”
