Biography

Acromegaly is the title of a solo music project run single-handedly from start to finish by one man, who for the time being elects to remain incognito. Swordsman, bon vivant, polymath - these are all words he knows how to spell. It is believed, although not known for certain, that he originates from England or Scotland, and certainly all of his operations are run from Birmingham in the Central England area.

Born very early in 1980, he grew up surrounded by the products of the electronic music revolution that was taking place at the time. Among his influences lie the likes of Tangerine Dream, New Order, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Jean Michel Jarre, Jan Hammer and Vangelis. He also enjoys other synthpop and synthrock of the same era, including Erasure, Level 42, Tears For Fears, Heaven 17, Brother Beyond, Paul Hardcastle, Pet Shop Boys and Howard Jones.

His one failing is that he cannot sing, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know a good tune.
