Against Empire is a blackened anarcho-crust punk band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2000.
Or as the band puts it; “Against Empire is a blackened filet o crust punk, marinated in d beats and group vocals, then coated with a layer or general disgust for everyone with dollar signs in their eyes. They hate capital, and they have a split with Iskra what more do you need to know.”

Against Empire released their first recording, a split with Holokaust, in 2004 and released their debut album, The Ones Who Strike The Blows Forget...The Ones Who Bear The Scars Remember, in 2005. In 2011 Against Empire released their second album, Thieves and Leeches.
