Aleksandra Prijovic
Biography
Aleksandra Prijovic is a Serbian pop-folk singer and one of the most commercially successful regional performers of her generation. Born in Sombor and raised in Beli Manastir, Croatia, she first came to wider public attention through Zvezde Granda, before building a career marked by emotional ballads, modern folk-pop production and a strong connection with audiences across the former Yugoslavia.
Her debut album, Testament, was released in 2017, followed by Zvuk tišine in 2022 and Devet života in 2023. The success of Devet života led to her first major arena tour, Od istoka do zapada, which became one of the biggest regional concert tours of the decade. During the tour, Prijović sold out several major venues on multiple consecutive nights, including five concerts at Arena Zagreb, three at Belgrade’s Štark Arena, three at Sarajevo’s Zetra Olympic Hall and three at Niš’s Čair Hall. The tour ultimately featured over 60 concerts and sold around 584,000 tickets.

The album contains nine songs, including “Rugoba”, “Halo”, “Kababa”, “Olovo”, “Gatara”, “Macho Man”, “Konobari”, “Opa cupa” and “Vreme prolazi”, continuing the dramatic, emotionally charged pop-folk sound that has defined her recent work.
Through her combination of contemporary production, traditional folk influence and large-scale arena appeal, Aleksandra Prijović has become one of the defining names of modern Balkan pop-folk.
