2006-2009 he wrote music and played keyboard and drums in indie post-rock band Beauty Sleep (Barnaul) .

Being a member of “Beauty Sleep” he at the same time was engaged in different side-projects. He tried to find himself in some other music styles, so he recorded electronic/idm album “Listening to the Silence” (2007), neo-classical album “The 8 Angels” (2008), single “For Annie” (2008) and composed soundtracks for movies (“ZOB”2009, “KADO” 2010).

In 2010, Alexander started his solo project – he composed and recorded the album “No Colours”, described by himself as an attempt to show absence or uncertain presence of colours in each track.

2011 becomes a key moment in artist's career. Alexander adopted the new stage name Alex Bright and released the new album “Tell me a story” with a new individual sound.
