Biography
The young Genoese producer Andrea Marino publishes his first ever track on Confession, the label of Tchami.
In the world of music, not only electronic, the standard path followed by most artists is the one that sees them publish first on small labels and only later, once they have reached a certain credibility and a recognizable style, do they reach some major or large independent label . Most of them, indeed. Because there are exceptions for which this journey in stages does not seem to be mandatory as for all others. One of these corresponds to the name of Andrea Marino, a young Genoese producer who yesterday published ‘The Plug’, his first track on Confession, the French label a reference point for the global bass and g-house scene. He is not the only Italian to have managed to get into the good graces of Tchami's A&R - among others we remember Delayers, Stereoliez, Lozz, Back2Black - but he is the first who managed to publish his first track ever on this very label.

Andrea tells us that he has been producing for many years but, since he met Tchami backstage at Aquarius in 2017, he decided he wanted at all costs to publish his debut track on Confession. An ambitious goal that, perhaps, would have been more affordable having a minimum back catalog spread on other labels. However Andrea did not let himself be discouraged and, after a couple of years of hard work - which does not mean only many hours in the studio, but also trips to Miami, dates, pr, collaborations - he finally succeeded in crowning his dream. Since this is a beautiful Italian story that can be an example for many other young producers, we have reached it in Miami to have us explain something more about it.
