Biography
Formed in Cottbus, Germany, in 2008, Arroganz is an extreme metal trio that fiercely melds blackened death metal with heavy doom grooves and a raw, punk-infused D-beat energy. Embracing an unpretentious "death doom punk" ethos, the band built a strong underground reputation through raw, sinister releases like Dark and Deathless (2011), Kaos.Kult.Kreation (2013), and Morsus (2020).
Driven by cold, anti-ideological themes, suffocating riffs, and relentless touring across Europe, Arroganz—led by vocalist/bassist -K- alongside guitarist -M- and drummer -P-—solidified their fiercely independent identity before releasing their razor-sharp 2026 full-length album, Death Doom Punks, via Testimony Records.
