Arxi tou Telous' experimental punk sound is largely influenced by new wave/post-punk/no wave/noise bands from the 80s (such as Negative Stance, Anti(Αντί), Metro Decay, Stress, Stereo Nova(Στέρεο Νόβα), Mora Sti Fotia(Μωρά στη Φωτιά), Amebix, Swans, Skullflower etc), but also incorporates darkwave/industrial elements. Their lyrics deal with sociopolitical issues as well as emotional matters.
