Aunt Bettys was an American alternative rock band from California, founded by Mike Michael Knott. The band was formed in the 1990s, likely around 1995. They were known for a unique sound that combined elements of Jane’s Addiction and other 90s rock acts. Their self-titled album, *Aunt Bettys*, was released in 1996 and featured songs such as "Jesus," "Rocket & A Bomb," and "Addict." Mike Knott, the creative force behind the band, had previously worked on projects like Lifesavers and LSU before taking a new musical direction with Aunt Bettys. Despite their energetic sound and passionate live performances, the band never achieved the commercial breakthrough they deserved. There is no definitive information regarding when Aunt Bettys officially disbanded; they released only the self-titled album in 1996, after which they faded from the scene.
