The members of BROKIX met as teenagers in Cali and began making music together in the late 2010s, formally launching the project around 2019. Their early work drew from punk rock roots before expanding into a hybrid style that incorporates the rhythms of Colombian urban music with electric guitars, nostalgic melodies, and honest lyrics about love, heartbreak, and identity.

Raised on a mix of MTV, hip-hop, and dedication songs from the 2000s, the trio aims to represent a more melodic and romantic side of Cali while remaining connected to its street culture and salsa influences. They signed with Universal Music Latino and gained wider recognition through high-profile collaborations and live performances, including opening slots on Feid’s FERXXOCALIPSIS Tour, shows with Tiago PZK, and appearances at Festival Estéreo Picnic.

Music and Releases

BROKIX’s breakthrough came with the track Sueños Perdidos and its remix featuring Feid, Esteban Rojas, and Justin Quiles, which amassed tens of millions of streams. Other notable releases include collaborations with Ñejo (CONTIGO), Jhay P (Flores), and additional singles such as BONITA, GANJAH, and NO ES PA TANTO.

Key projects:

Los Niños Del 2000 (2021)

SORRY X LO RARXZ (2022)

PA QUE YA NO ESTÉS TRISTE (2025) – a full-length album that further expands their experimental and emotional approach, incorporating elements of R&B, EDM, and lo-fi.
