Biography
BRUHMANEGOD, real name Christopher Lindsay (b. October 14, 2000) is a Bay Area native who has been releasing music under his current moniker for over a decade. He is one of the founding members of the collective Spider Gang and has plenty official releases under his belt. He, alongside his Spider Gang cohorts, have helped pioneer and expand upon the ever-shifting Soundcloud landscape with their unique brand of genre-fusing hip hop.
Being of Peruvian, Chinese, Native-American, and Spanish descent, BRUHMANEGOD is the epitome of America’s melting pot. He became interested in music from birth. With his father playing System of a Down on his acoustic guitar in the form of lullabies, and his mother incubating him in a varied array of artists like 2Pac, The White Stripes, and P!NK, the vast and somewhat confusing range of BRUHMANEGOD’s influences is no surprise. As he grew older and the internet started to become a driving force of culture, he relentlessly pursued new music that he was interested in and found comfort and passion at the cutting edge of new sounds. At age 14, he would spend hours a day scrolling through his Soundcloud feed and related artists. There he discovered underground staples such as XXXtentacion, Sybyr, and Crimewave420, who all became key points of inspiration for him. Over time, he improved his style and became more involved in the community himself, expanding upon his influences with producers and artists like James Gorczyca and BLCKK. Over the course of 2017 through late 2018, he began to build a group of friends that would eventually become the now defunct Spider Gang.
