Balmora

Biography

Balmora were a metalcore band on from Connecticut, USA. The band, who got their name from the Dark Elvish word for stonewood, formed in 2023 and quickly garnered a fanbase for their old-school, melodeath take on deathcore. Despite forming as a straight edge band, the band would abandon edge around February 2026 after the sudden departure of vocalist Senti, a founding member, who was swiftly replaced without much explaination. The band signed to Daze around April 2025 and released their debut album on May 29, 2026. The album, however, was met with mixed reviews among fans, and allegations against Jay and former-vocalist Senti quickly overshadowed the release, eventually leading to the band nuking its social media and dropping off tours.
