Biography
Intricate choreography and traditional Congolese music are combined to create the unique soukous approach of Swahili-speaking vocalist Didie Doubleweight and Bilenge Musical Du Zaire. Formed in 1996, the group represents the combined efforts of veteran East African musicians who have previously worked with Sam Mangwana, Viva La Musica, and the Maquis Orquesta. ~ Craig Harris, All Music Guide
