Biography
Blast and the Detergents' version of punk erupted from the boredom and frustration of living in the fake cities and suburbs of Florida. Blending punk, no wave, rock n roll, avant garde and noise influences to form a cohesive sound, Blast and the Detergents surfs the underground of American culture. High energy performances with enthusiastic yalping, skronking and contorting characterize their live shows and recordings.
