Biography
Blessed in Sin is a French melodic black metal band from Toulon, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. They were formed in 1993 by brothers Overlord Nasty Metatheos (vocals, now known as Le Hiérophante) and Black Christ (guitars), who had left Bloody Ritual around that time. They are one of the first black metal bands from Toulon, alongside Pure Desecration (evolved into Funeral, and then Kristallnacht) which had Black Christ on guitars.
The band is mainly influenced by Hellenic black metal and French heavy metal. Blessed in Sin has gone through several line-up changes over the years, with the brothers as constant members of the band.
