Biography
There are multiple bands by the same name.
1). Blindspot was a SKA band from the Bay Area, formed in 1993. Their sound incorporates a rock style of ska, similar to bands like Fishbone, Johnny Socko, the Exceptions, One Eye Open, and The Adjustments. They released tracks on various compilations over the years, and released at least one full length, "Acceleration Zero," in 1998 on Tomato Head records. 2). Blindspot is an alternative rock band from Varaždin, formed in spring of 2009, as a result of the strivings of the group of friends who wanted to work on something new and fresh in the terms of autorship and personal experience, with no other goal than to rock'n'roll. The corrolary of this enthusiasm and devoted work in the next few months is represented by the tracks which are characterised by strong riffs, fluid, but nonetheless unpredictable groove and powerful baritone vocal. In spite of different stylistic approach and contribution of each of the members of the band, their sound is defined and cohesive, and their gigs full of emotions and energy. They are constantly working on new tracks, and this summer they plan to record their first EP.

Blindspot je alternativni rock band iz Varaždina nastao u proljeće 2009. kao želja skupine prijatelja za rad na nečem novom i svježem, u autorskom i iskustvenom smislu, neopterečeni ničim osim željom za rockanjem. Rezultat tog entuzijazma i predanog rada narednih mjeseci su stvari koje karakteriziraju čvrsti riffovi te fluidan, no ne i predvidiv groove. Usprkos različitom stilskom utjecaju članova benda (rock, metal, grunge) zvuk im je definiran i homogen, a nastup emotivan i energičan. Stalno rade na novim stvarima, a od ove su godine krenuli i u realizaciju snimanja EP-a.
3). blindspot (all lowercase) is an award nominated, female-fronted alternative rock band from Boston, MA. Comprised of frontwoman Alexa Economou on lead vocals and Chris Cormier on guitar and/or drums, they are influenced by artists such as U2, The Killers, Paramore, Kings of Leon, and The 1975. Their unique sound, passion, and drive make them stand out against other musicians of their age.
Along with being nominated for Best Band in State of MA by The New England Music Awards in 2018, blindspot has opened for artists such as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Gin Blossoms, Candlebox, Plain White T's, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Cherie Currie of The Runaways, Finger Eleven, and Fuel. They have toured nationally numerous times playing in a total of 23 states across the country.
With their self-titled EP and follow-up single "All I Am" released in 2017 and 2018 respectively, their highly anticipated sophomore EP is due out in 2019. They are constantly striving to gain as much exposure as possible in order to expand their fan base and and spread the word about their music. Look out for them because they want to change the world
