Biography

Bob Burke is an acoustic funk-folk artist from the New Forest, southern England. His solo music is an infectious combination of intimate folk sounds with groovy funk rhythms and an honest live performance sensibility. He has toured extensively across Europe as a solo artist, across the US with Lou Brown and Russia with metal-band, Sudarshan.

He has produced albums for Lou Brown (What are You Singing About?, 2007) and Victor Chetcuti (Something Else, 2007), as well as his solo debut, Shadow of Mercury (2008). Bob Burke has also performed on Tinderbox's 2009 album, Golden, and their forthcoming State of Play.
