Bruford

Biography

Bruford was the group name used for drummer Bill Brufords first few solo albums. The band initially included Dave Stewart on keyboards, Jeff Berlin on bass, and Allan Holdsworth on guitar. For Feels Good to Me (1978) the band was joined by singer Annette Peacock and Kenny Wheeler on flugelhorn. One of a Kind (1979) found the band stripped down to the core quartet. For the live album, The Bruford Tapes, and Gradually Going Tornado (1980), Holdsworth was replaced by John Clark.

Brufords later outings would be released under either his full name or variations of Bill Brufords Earthworks/Earthworks. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
