CQ were a dutch skacore band formed in Alphen aan den Rijn in 2002.

Without any musical experience prior to forming the band, CQ's members miraculously developed into something relatively close to what is often referred to as 'musicians'. The band has gained some notoriety due to comical and nonsensical songwriting and humor used in live performances. Other than that, their antics (frequently having little to do with anything musical) are well-known in the Alphen aan den Rijn region and often looked upon with some disgust.

The band has since disbanded, due to the disappearance of lead singer / guitarist Gert-Jan.

Steef has gone on to play drums in metal band Gnadab. Sjoerd plays drums for a band that is so far without a name.

The band comprises the following members:

Gert-Jan: vocals / guitar

Sjoerd: vocals / bass-guitar

Steef: drums / back-up vocals

Vincent: no actual function
