The band started out in 2016 as a folk duo, comprised of singer singer songwriter Patrick Kilbride (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Alex Garcia (lead guitar). As a side project for Patrick, he started working on a demo tape that had more of a garage-rock sound to the acoustic songs that were already being worked on. Afterwards, they hired Ricardo Costa (drums) and Bruno Motta (bass) - they both enjoyed Patrick's unfussy style, and deadpan lyrics (which deal with relationships, guilt and chagrin).
After 1/2 a year of working on their songs, rehersals and band battles, they re-recorded the original rock demo in Brian Hunt's studio in Madrid. Paula Martin completes the band on drums, and they plan to launch their first EP soon.
2. Carmelita is a Latin folk / country artist from Brazil who relased the album Recordação in the 1960s.
