Biography
Carver Commodore is an alternative rock band based in Florence, Alabama, known for combining garage rock, indie pop, and southern energy. Band Members include: Payton Pruitt (lead vocals and guitar), Phillip Blevins (guitar), Noah Freeman (drums), David Smith Jr. (bass), and Clayton Christopher (multi-instrumentalist).
Formed in 2017 after previous college projects ended, the group channels modern alt-rock influences like The Strokes, Jack White, and Cage the Elephant. While their hometown is famous for traditional swampy and soulful sounds, Carver Commodore leans into guitar-heavy hooks, upbeat tempos, and stadium-ready anthems.
