Biography
Austin, Texas's Cat Scientist specializes in playfully tossed-off keyboard-driven dance numbers that move the feet and engage the mind with intelligent and often goofy lyrics. The band is as adept at creating memorable melodies ("Precipice") as club-banging techno numbers ("Cicada," "I Saved an Airplane"). The grandness of scale and celebratory vibe of their live show translates effortlessly to the studio.
