Described best by one reviewer as "charity shop spook-jazz. Those who like simplistic reference points can have: The Caretaker and Scorn's "The Sky is Loaded", but there's more to it than that."
The Trifler describes his music as "Uneasy listening Soundtrack" music.
Cauterised has released 6 EPs and 1 LP which have featured the sonic deconstruction of amongst other things the music of Delerium, obscure 70s film soundtracks and the German easy listening music.
