Biography
Chamber of Unlight is a Finnish black metal band from Tampere, formed in 2016. The project began as the solo work of multi-instrumentalist Necrosis (also known from Ajattara, Deathchain, Shade Empire and Trollheims Grott). He was soon joined by drummer LRH (Horna, Deathchain, Bythos, Trollheims Grott and others). Over time the band expanded into a full lineup featuring members of Horna, Behexen, Ajattara, Deathchain and related acts, including Leper (guitars), Infection (guitars), VnoM (bass) and Spellgoth (keyboards).
Chamber of Unlight plays atmospheric black metal rooted in the classic 1990s Scandinavian (especially Finnish) style, combining aggressive riffing and blastbeats with prominent keyboards and a dark, occult atmosphere. Lyrical themes focus on anti-Christianity, darkness and Satanism.
