Chernikovskaya Hata

Biography

Chernikovskaya Hata (Черниковская Хата) is a Russian musical group from Ufa, formed in 2015. The band is known for its unique sound, which combines elements of post-punk, indie rock and electronic music. Their work intertwines the harsh realities of provincial life and the dynamics of the urban environment, creating a unique atmosphere.

Their music is not an orchestra, but a pulsating vein of sensual depth. This is music at the break. This is universal sorrow, apocalyptic power and the unbearable heaviness of existence. When you hear their sound, everything inside shrinks and becomes heart-rendingly bad, each beat on the strings seems tragically the last. Sobbing electric guitar, funeral bass, weighty drums and heretical chorales create the background for the main action. Stylistically, everything described above is usually called the vague term post-chanson. The stunning, sometimes catastrophic contradictions of the modern world, the unceasing struggle of the creative and destructive forces of life, the bright humanistic ideals of freedom and justice found in the person of this collective the conscience and pain of their generation.
