The main storyline of this character is unknown to his relatively secretive character. Now, we know that Chester (Chet I like to call him.) is a mascot for Fritolay.
Where did his shenanigans begin? Sit right down and let's get to story telling.
In the summer of 1985,
this cool cat (Chet) is just walkin' down the street listening to The Smiths, when he spotted a dollar. He later found out it was a trap leading to the then almost bankrupt Fritolay. Now, Chester being the cool cat that he is, is befuddled in such a rather ambiguous manner. Donald M. Kendall comes out of nowhere and says "Sup, bro." "You want a job?" Chester replies with a simple "No." Kendall is misguided into believing that Chet wants the job and is just playing hard to get. Chester runs off (taking the dollar first) into the mist of 1986.
Kendall being that ambitious businessman that he is, is out to get pussy. A pussycat called "Chester Cheetah". It being 1986 Chester is at his lovely home in Colorado playing the NES (what game he is playing is unknown and is still unknown to this day). Kendall jumps down the chimney making not one sound. Kendall leaps to the living room sofa and readies his bag to nab Chester. Kendall is in awe at his success and quickly runs to his hideout in Fritolay Studios.
Later that day Chester was forced into signing a contract to act in commercials for the product "Cheetos" as the cool dude named Chester Cheetah.
Starring in commercials and TV spots plus a few movie spots and a little video game spot action on the side, it's no stranger to Chester that he was finally having success. But come 1996 it would all change...
In 1996,
Chester would soon become a voyeur and would soon be arrested when spying on a sorority in Brixton
When released from prison he'd then advance to the use of large quantities of medicinal drugs, (it's not illegal, so why not) he thought. When prompted by the BBC on what he was going to do with his life after the peculiar differences Chester has been facing, he had then said "I'm going to take the life of a musician."
Everyone in shock as to how their hero would pan out on a musical career, he had then shown his shredding skills in high quality compared to that of what his skills were in the Sega Genesis game "Too Cool To Fool". When the video of Chester shredding had hit the internet (which took a year to load , so noone watched it anyway) everyone was in shock and amazement at how Chester played the guitar.
"It's like Chester fingers the strings just right, it makes me wet." - Ringo Starr of 'The Beatles' 1997
"Chester makes Jeff look like a beginner." - Tom Araya of 'Slayer' 1997
"I listen to the video everyday when I'm in the factory on my fast internet connection!" - Jonathan Cross trolling on hard mode in a chicken factory. 1997
As soon as Chester's first album called 'Dangerously Cheesy" hit stores the sales plummeted and almost went bankrupt if he hadn't had his shares from Frito Lay.
"This album IS 'Dangerously Cheesy'!" (Score - -1/10) - Rolling Stone Magazine 1997
"Hip hop, pop, metal, disco all rolled onto one disk. 'Dangerously Cheesy' is nothing more than a novelty." (Score - -9.9/10) Pitchfork 1999
"Classic and at the top of the line hilarity with Chester on his album 'Dangerously Cheesy'!" - (Score - 8/10) - Underground Cult Classics 2005 (They were then flamed on both forums and reviews on the website until the website itself died.)
While the album had the lowest scores of any album in history having a review of almost all the album reviewers plus Indonesian controversy, the album had went into a high obscurity and almost all copies were thrown into a fire and all reviews being destroyed and deleted from their respective websites. Only five copies of the album are questioned to still exist
With the disaster past him, Chester decided to keep his personality on commercials.
