Biography:

The band was formed by vocalist Hikage after the dissolution of her project swancry.

Cissné is a band characterized by an avant-garde sound that intertwines delicate melodies with heavy sonic layers, rooted in post-black, skramz, ambient, and post-classical influences.

Embracing both lyricism and experimentation, their music evolves into a more organic expression that makes use of silence and space.

Transcending the boundaries of genre, Cissné awakens new sensibilities within the listener.

The debut release "WILL / straysheep" blends post-black intensity, skramz urgency, and ambient depth into heavy, layered soundscapes. It channels an emotive force that balances aggression with fragility. Built from shifting textures of delicate piano, immersive guitar walls, and diverse vocal expressions, the music moves between calm and eruption with instinctive fluidity.
