Coolhandtrew is a Virginia-based independent artist, songwriter, and label head with over two decades in the game. His sound lives at the intersection of R&B, hip-hop, and neo-soul — warm, honest, and built for the people you'd actually call at 2am. He opened for De La Soul. Voiced a McDonald's campaign. His music has appeared on Netflix's All American, Apple TV's Imperfect Women, Amazon, A24's Under the Silver Lake, and the NBA. He's collaborated with Camp Lo, Blu, Wordsworth, Jean Grae, Skibeatz, and Nottz — and owns every master he's ever made. On September 2, 2026 — his birthday — he releases his debut memoir and EP Operation: It's A Vibe — The James Crockett Experience Part II (The EP). Music for the friend who always shows up.
