COTTON SIDEWALK is a heavy-pop/alternate/dirge combo spawned from the bowels of Charlestown, New South Wales, AUSTRALIA. Although only together for seven years, COTTON SIDEWALK have blessed the world with an LP entitled Mass Transit Radio (2002) with the single Critical Dependencies cut on the Independence Vol. 1 compilation and the midget-album Build A Preschool (2006), as well as attaining success, fame, and a following of millions.
Selling their bottled sweat and locks of their hair has proved to be the biggest money maker so far. Plans for the future include dolls, lunch boxes, and bed sheets.

COTTON SIDEWALK sounds like normal to fast-tempo Radiohead playing Nirvana, Ryan Adams, Scott Walker, XTC, David Bowie and a pinch of the old Shihad. Their personal musical influences include; Queens of the Stone Age, Jellyfish, bizarre relationship failures, Gentle Giant, smokers, sound effects records, the Beatles, hard rock, Jesus, punk rock, Luke, authentic rock, the Meat Puppets, and, of course, Betchadupa.
All four members of COTTON SIDEWALK have no arms or legs - just stumps. Not even shin bones. Everybody is still able to wear shoes though, so there will be no problems obtaining a Doc Martens endorsement. Hopefully they can release a record, play shows around the world for about a year on the Limbless and Grinless Tour and then split up, or just fade off into the commercial abyss. COTTON SIDEWALK will be just like those gimmick bands/artists that you hear a lot about. The more money they make the better. Big wig record companies wont want to sign a record deal because COTTON SIDEWALK write good and honest music, nah no way, it will be because they see huge potential in COTTON SIDEWALKs stumpy ability to make them wads and wads of cold hard succulent cash.
In 20 years time, even if it be to each other in their rented cockroach infested houses, COTTON SIDEWALK will be playing music. I guess that is it and is all that matters.
