Biography
Dött ljus ("Dead Light") is a Stockholm-based electronic duo consisting of producers Johan Kisro and Petter Lindhagen. The duo met through the local DIY scene around apartment gigs and began collaborating after discovering a shared fascination for detailed sound design and genre-crossing music. With a background in projects such as Old Amica (for Johan) and Tired Tape Machine (for Petter), as well as influences from both ambient, dance music and experimental electronica, they have developed a spontaneous and atmospheric expression.
Their music moves in the borderland between dance floor and after party, often with pulsating rhythms, but with a dreamy, introspective feel. In 2024 they debuted with the EP Bottna on London-based Slowcraft Records, a release characterized by intuitive creation and a playful exploration of sound, where ideas are allowed to guide the process rather than fixed frameworks.
