DJKurara
Biography
DJKurara is a Japanese hardcore producer from Kanagawa that started producing in October 2011. He mainly specializes in creating music in genres such as: speedcore, frenchcore, breakcore, mashcore and other *core/*tek.
He first showed his interest to music when he was in a junior school. Western music became his passion after he encountered the NFS:MW OSTs, which he was recording on his dad's burned CD. DJKurara came across hardcore music through rhythm games, namely Beatmania IIDX. At the same time, he became addicted to rhythm game songs and dug deeper into YouTube, discovering artists like t+pazolite and LV.4. Stumbling upon the HARDCORE TANO*C (Japanese record label) was the major starting point when the world of indie hardcore had expanded for him.

He came up with his name "Kurara" by mixing "Clank" from the Ratchet & Clank series with "Kirara" from Inuyasha, and then he added DJ to it like the most Beatmania artists did back in the time. He doesn't use a space in between to make it easier to find, and thinks it just looks nicer without a gap. DJKurara also has his own OC - Radioa Kurara (based on VRoid). As he said himself, she is his digital reflection, a kind of 'alter-ego'. The design is deeply personal as the many details are based off his real life items.
Currently, he is still constantly producing music and performing live. He is owner of the Sadistik Noize Asylum and Radio Active Hardcore, Co-Owner of the KyokudoCore Records.
