Biography
Distress Calls is a DIY project founded by Jason Tilley from Melbourne, Australia. At this point in time, Distress Calls only consists of Tilley. The genre could be described as post-rock and even post-rock infused screamo at times. The band's Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/distresscalls) suggests that inspiration is drawn from bands such as Explosions In The Sky, Daitro, My Bloody Valentine, Yndi Halda and God Is An Astronaut.
