Biography

Dunham Van Durham is an instrumental Americana / roots music trio from Tennessee. The band consists of three brothers: Junior Van Durham and Roland Van Durham are multi-instrumentalists that play guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and a variety of percussion, while the oldest brother, Lyman Van Durham, plays the harmonica and clarinet. Locally, they're known as "the Van Durham boys" and have been playing professionally since 1976. The band is named for their father, Dunham Van Durham, a banjo player and local legend that heavily influenced the Appalachian folk scene.

After decades of playing music together, the Van Durham boys have finally recorded and released their first album, "Simpler Times" on the independent label, RDC Recordings.
