ENNI started in February 2022 as a duo consisting of singer ENNI and producer Parvus. The project brings together influences from indie rock and hip hop, blending them into a form of German electropop characterized by melodic hooks and trap-influenced production.
The debut singles from the first album IN WEISS were featured on several playlists, including those by BR PULS and The Pick, and also received airplay on stations such as ByteFM and Laut.fm. IN WEISS also refers to the artist’s visual aesthetic, which plays a central role in shaping her public image and brand.
Following ENNI’s live debut in early 2023, the project expanded into a full band with the addition of Sandro Weich and Tom Stapelfeld. With its distinctive sound and live performances, the group quickly gained attention in the local music scene. Notable milestones include participation in the R.I.O Clubtour and winning the jury prize at the Newcomer Festival of the Erlangen E-Werk.
A review from the Fränkischer Tag described ENNI as delivering a melodic indie rock sound, carried in particular by the striking voice of the singer.
The lyrics often explore themes of love, emotional intensity, and coming-of-age experiences in early adulthood. Live performances are shaped by a strong sense of authenticity and emotional expression, aiming to create intimate and immersive moments for the audience.
