Biography
Hailing from Concord, California, Eaten by Insects is an extreme blackened death metal unit that delivers a sonic assault characterized by absolute savagery and skin-crawling atmosphere. The project—consisting of vocalist Josh, guitarists Travis and Sevrin, and drummer Richard—expertly weaves suffocating, tremolo-picked black metal melodies with the punishing, concrete-heavy grooves of classic death metal.
The band burst onto the underground radar in early 2026 with their premier single and music video "Delusional Parasitosis", quickly following it up on May 24, 2026, with their debut EP, Insectecution. Lyrically and visually obsessed with insectoid horrors, swarming plagues, and psychological rot, Eaten by Insects pairs a raw, modern DIY production style with terrifying, relentless energy, securing their place as a highly promising, venomous new force in the West Coast extreme metal scene.
