Biography
Born in amsterdam in 1972..got infected by the virus in 1984..all ya heard was Whodini, Mannparrish, GrandmasterFlash, Fatboys etc. In the golden age rap and hiphop in general was very big in Amsterdam but that was in my state of mind… but nuff on that. In ‘92 I decided to become a DJ. I knew that I had the skills and the feelin to rock a crowd. I hooked up with DonRon, the rest is history.
We formed a 2 men crew called BBoyConnections and made a name for ourself. While most of my friends from the eighties quit hiphop or went house we stick to the script, perfectin this artform called DJ’n. We started makin mixtapes, doin parties.I first started at this clothingstore called Vibes, after that Clyde hooked me up with this café called the Duivel and soon we had our regular fridaynight.. coldkillin shit. We was hot… the mixtape thing wasn’t that big when we started so we made a tape. Kees de Koning and Knowhow from the popular rapshow Villa 65 heard that shit and after that..BUYA. We was in it to win. Holland wanted my shit, so we made more and more tapes.We played on festivals, clubs indoor/outdoor, Belgium, France, Praha, Germany, New York, you name it, we did it…

So now BBoyConnections is a household name. DJ Edzon is a household name in HipHop. You don’t know you better ask somebody…
Now at age 33 Edzon got 2 kids, an own sneakerstore called Patta, a lovely girlfriend called Nica…and still plays records now and then.
