Biography
Christopher Lucas, known professionally as El'Plaga, is a Canadian rapper from Toronto, Ontario. Emerging from the Parma Court community in Scarborough, he became a prominent voice in the city's "drill" and underground hip-hop scenes during the late 2010s. His music is characterized by gritty lyricism detailing the realities of growing up in social housing and the volatility of street life. As of early 2026, he is primarily known for his conviction in a high-profile double homicide case rather than his musical career. In January 2026, a Niagara jury found Lucas guilty of two counts of second-degree murder. The conviction stems from the January 19, 2021, fatal shootings of 18-year-old Christine Crooks and 20-year-old Juliana Pannunzio.
