Biography
Enlly Blue is an AI-generated virtual musical artist specializing in soul and blues genres, created in 2025 by Vietnamese producer Thong Viet Thong (also known as Nguyễn Viết Thông), who handles songwriting, production, and engineering using artificial intelligence for vocals and lyrics. Her debut single, "Through My Soul," an emotional soul-blues track, propelled her to rapid popularity by debuting at No. 44 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart and No. 15 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart during the week of October 18, 2025, with over 5 million streams, establishing her as one of the pioneering fully AI-vocalized acts to achieve mainstream chart success.
Enlly Blue's emergence highlights the growing integration of AI in music creation, where synthetic personas like hers blend vintage aesthetics—such as 1950s-style soul-blues influences—with modern technology to produce hypnotic, retro-soul sounds featuring warm timbres and velvety AI-generated vocals. This project has sparked discussions on AI's role in the industry, verified through tools like Deezer’s AI detection, amid a trend of AI-assisted artists reshaping Billboard charts and challenging traditional notions of artistry. Following her debut, Enlly Blue released additional works, including soul-blues versions of traditional Christmas songs and EPs like Traditional Christmas Songs, Vol. 1 (Soul Blues Version) in 2025, further solidifying her presence on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music with monthly listeners exceeding 476,000.
