About Eric Beverly and the Sunday Best
Read full biography ↓
Austin-based songwriters Eric Beverly and Chris Roubieu first joined forces on The Raiders, a little league soccer team in La Porte, Texas.
They reunited in high school to form the band Ice-9, which was lauded by the yearbook "Different Perspectives.”
In the late 2000s, Eric and Chris began trading demos back and forth. Soon, they got the idea of locking themselves in a real recording studio and making a pop rock album.
Their debut album “The Sunday Best” mixes rock & roll, Britpop, bayou-born rhythm, and heartbreak. Buy it at http://ericbeverly.bandcamp.com/album/the-sunday-best.
Eric and Chris are joined on the record by some fine players, including Seela, David Boyle, Dan Torosian, Rick White, and Matt Grogan.
