Biography
Eng: Eyesight started as a solo project of Zethyaz (guitarist and composer of the paraguayan black metal band Sabaoth), originally focused on dark ambient, synth-pop, and atmospheric compositions. Under this initial format, the project released its debut album "Shield of Leaves" (1997), recorded with the collaboration of Fernando Feliciángeli (Deliverans) and released via the argentine label Icarus Music.
However, after a long hiatus, the project was completely revamped in 2018 as a full band, evolving into an avant-garde, synth-pop, and new wave project. Eyesight became a core duo consisting of Zethyaz and Juan Andrés Colmán, later joined by a stable lineup of prominent musicians from the paraguayan rock scene. Since its comeback, the band has expanded its discography significantly by releasing "Forking Paths" (2021) and its most recent studio album, "The Wandering Light" (2025).
