Biography
A project rooted in the connection between Cristóbal Faúndez, Francisco Soto, and Saskya Campos, and featuring collaborations with other exponents of this teen-oriented pop, such as Poder Fantasma and Mitimitis, Fonosida explores a lo-fi sound infused with electropop nuances. In 2021, they contributed a version of "Ahondar en ti" to the *Homenaje Mena* album, which celebrated the tenth anniversary of *Mena* (Javiera Mena’s second record) and featured other artists from that indie-pop scene. Their albums have been released under the umbrella of Gemelo Parásito, a collective of indie-pop bands and projects characterized by an austere aesthetic and a staunch embrace of precarity.
