Biography
Fadaei (Ashkan Saranjam) is a Paris-based Iranian rapper, songwriter, and member of the influential Persian hip-hop collective Moltafet. Active since 2009, he is known for his incisive lyricism, distinctive delivery, and politically and socially charged writing. His music frequently addresses Iranian history, political repression, protest, and collective memory, making him one of the prominent voices of socially conscious Persian rap. His major releases include Adl (2012), Hagh (2022), Eshgh (2024), and Rend (2026), alongside numerous singles and collaborations with artists including Hichkas, Shapur, and Mahdyar Aghajani.
