Biography
Folding in centuries of folk traditions thru the imagery of Andrei Tarkovsky, Fohn aka Tom Connolly, deepens his folkloric fantasy through gorgeously evocative pastoral drift. Piano, guitar, violin and field recordings pass through layers of ferric hiss steered towards the sound of bell buoys, lapping coastal ambience, creaking wooden hulls and fuzzy nocturnal drones. Intimate, moving, hopeful music at its very best.
