The creation of his landmark album happened completely by chance. In 1969, an 18-year-old Van Zegveld was unexpectedly handed last-minute, unused studio time at Soundpush Studios after another artist failed to show up. Despite having never played as a solo frontman, he eagerly accepted the slot. Over a single weekend, he hastily wrote and improvised a tracklist, bringing in legendary Dutch musicians—bassist Ruud Jacobs and drummer Louis Debij—to back him up.

The resulting LP was a spontaneous mix of upbeat dancefloor burners, gritty rhythm and blues, and moody jazz interludes. Originally printed in a limited run of only 2,000 copies on Park Records, the album quickly faded into initial obscurity. However, it later developed a massive underground following among DJs and rare groove enthusiasts, leading to official high-quality vinyl reissues by labels like Milkcow Records and Music On Vinyl
