Biography
Featuring former members of Dark Entity, Fruit Tree was formed with the intention of creating beautiful, dark, and atmospheric music, by blending heavy riffs with melodic guitars and death/black metal vocals with clean female vocals – all this mixed with a twisted sense of humour, and a stage act that has to be seen to be believed!!! The resulting style is a compelling fusion of more contemporary metal, with a melodic tradition of an 80’s style that is constantly evolving.
The band played several live dates over the next year, impressing enough to be offered gigs with Napalm Death, Nile and Lostprophets, and well as a now infamous, (even without the pyrotechnics!!!) slot on the main stage at the Uxfest. Work then began on the recording of the album ‘Sunset’ which was finally completed a year later.
