Biography
Funeral Parade of Roses is a Brazilian solo experimental noise project focused primarily on harsh noise and related forms of extreme music. Its work explores themes of sexuality, transsexuality, fetishism, desire, and the body through abrasive sound, distortion, feedback, and confrontational imagery. The project's name is inspired by Toshio Matsumoto's 1969 film Funeral Parade of Roses (薔薇の葬列, Bara no Sōretsu), a landmark of Japanese queer and experimental cinema.
