Biography
Gangsapura Gamelan Group is a standalone Contemporary Malay Gamelan Group, first established in October 2016, based in the heart of Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur, with the aim of promoting Malaysian culture, developing traditional arts and instilling arts and music skills among community.
In a rapidly evolving world, many people find themselves disconnected from their cultural roots and traditional arts. This disconnection can lead to a loss of passion and appreciation for the rich heritage that once played a vital role in their lives. Additionally, the fast pace of modern life often leaves little room for individuals to explore or relearn traditional practices, which can contribute to the erosion of cultural preservation.
