Biography

a local of wilmington, pete gendron started with mike wells in '05 during the summer and fall with his first project, Walter Cronkite and the Corduroys on the Half Shell, and proceeded to start his own work a month or so later with Gendron. he also had a multitude of smaller projects including Jack White and Anya, 44. Magnum, The Fronts, and Gunny, but the main focus for the next year and a half was his band, the Ingredients, including Bill Driscoll on guitar, aaron kelly on piano and piano based instruments and the drums, tyler little on vocals and harmonica, and pete on guitar and bass. he wrote most of the songs for all of these projects, although aaron and bill frequently helped. bill, aaron, and tyler are part of another band, the clockwork soldiers, and aaron has a solo project aptly named BUNNY. the ingredients disbanded soon after tyler got depressed following his parents divorce and trouble with his grandmother. Gendron flew solo for another year or so, falling into a slump. he has now an intermitten band with his brother jim, but they are nameless and do mostly tributes to their father. his main project now, which is proving to be the most successful and fun of them all is Rare Candy, a two person band formed with bill driscoll. Gendron has 3 albums, Color Rhino (2005), The PathsWeNeed (2006), and the Plants of the Woos/Cerulean Spider (2007). his semi innovative music and basically catchy tunes make him a favourite to about 6 people.
