Biography
Gibbeting is an international brutal death metal and goregrind project formed in 2025, featuring musicians from Argentina, Switzerland, Estonia, and the Netherlands. Released through Pathologically Explicit Recordings, the project draws upon the most extreme traditions of underground death metal, combining relentless aggression with a lyrical focus on medieval torture, historical execution methods, and graphic violence.
Musically, Gibbeting delivers a punishing blend of brutal death metal and goregrind, built around dense guitar riffs, relentless blast beats, programmed drumming, and deep guttural vocals. The songwriting favors short, concentrated bursts of brutality, moving between frantic, grinding passages and slower, slam-inflected sections. Rather than stretching its ideas unnecessarily, the band keeps its compositions direct and compact, emphasizing impact, speed, and sheer sonic aggression.
